Wrap - Installation Instructions

SimplyGoodCoffee Brewer Wrap Installation Guide

Preparation (Important)

  • Read all the instructions and see images and tips at the end for additional insight.
  • Unroll the wrap, reverse rolling if necessary to flatten.
  • Empty your brewer, remove removable parts, drain upside down, and dry thoroughly.
  • Ensure brewer surfaces are free from coffee stains, water, and grease.
  • Work on a clean, flat surface with a towel beneath your brewer.

Step 1: Initial Alignment

  • Peel wrap from backing carefully to avoid sticking to itself.
  • Align the bottom edge of the wrap precisely with the brewer base and square opening around buttons.
  • Press gently below buttons; do NOT press firmly until alignment is perfect.
  • Tip: Misaligned? Peel carefully and reposition until exact.

Step 2: Wrapping and Smoothing

  • Gradually press wrap upward above the buttons, starting from the middle, moving outward to sides.
  • Eliminate bubbles and creases with fingers or plastic card (covered in cloth or sock recommended).
  • Smooth wrap evenly toward top edges and around sides.
  • Tip: Stand brewer upright once sides are secure for easier handling.

Step 3: Finishing the Back Seam

  • Overlap edges neatly at the back.
  • Press out all air bubbles before sealing seam securely.
  • Tip: Go slow; give bubbles an escape path.

Step 4: Gasket Installation

  • Before sticking the Gasket in place, prior to peeling off the backing, fit it in place. There may be better orientation for the best fit.
  • Peel backing from gasket provided.
  • Carefully position around front buttons to neatly hide gaps.

Helpful Tips:

  • Second Person: Helpful for alignment, holding, or repositioning.
  • Alignment Critical: Bottom and button area must be perfectly straight initially.
  • Avoid Rushing: Take time to press bubbles out progressively. Do not press the wrap down too firmly until any bubbles are gone.
  • A customer who helped us test the wraps suggested using a very small pin, making a tiny hole to let any air out of nasty bubbles. He says you cannot see the pin hole.
  • Card Trick: A plastic card wrapped in cloth or sock can help smooth bubbles.
