I have had all of the versions of a brewer that Simply Good Coffee has produced. The plastic free programmable brewer is by far the best they have produced. I love knowing that my brewer is not subject to the possible shedding of plastics. I love that this one is simple to use and produces the absolute best cup of coffee. One of my pet peeves about the original brewer glass carafe was that while pouring a cup, somehow coffee would end up spilling on the counter no matter how I tried to adjust the pour. Simply Good has addressed this issue and I love the new seal that they have implemented! This maker is worth the money. Caraway has a plastic free version available, but it does not have all of the features that the Simply Good brewer has. Dollar for dollar the Simply Good brewer is a better value."
